Today, I fully embraced the powerful energy of the 1/11 portal, creating space for clarity, alignment, and renewal. My day began with a deep clean of my home, clearing out the physical clutter to welcome the shifts this sacred day holds.
At 1:11, I paused to meditate, allowing myself to simply be present. As I sat in stillness, emotions rose to the surface, and I cried—tears of release and realization. It was as though the universe was holding space for me to finally let go of what no longer serves me.
Afterward, I pulled some cards, their messages aligning perfectly with the energy of this day and my own inner knowing: It’s time to commit.
Commitment. My word for 2025. Today, I felt the weight and beauty of that word as I moved through my space. Cleaning and dusting my bedroom became a ritual of grounding and intention—not about achieving perfection, but about creating an environment that reflects my commitment to being ME. No more, no less.
Of course, I reached for my journal—a stunning creation by local artist Em Farquhar-Barrie with the phrase “one step at a time” on the cover. It was the perfect reminder that the shifts I make today, no matter how small, hold the power to create monumental change in my life if I remain consistent.
A Realization About Being Me
This commitment to being me goes beyond just my daily actions; it’s about fully showing up for myself in every way. A beautiful realization surfaced during my meditation: me sharing these posts on my blog helps me stay consistent.Writing is one of the truest forms of expression for me. It’s how I connect with myself and the universe.
When I write, it feels like casting spells—infusing words with intention and sending them out into the world. It’s a practice that keeps me grounded and inspired, a way to honor the commitment I’ve made to myself.
So, if you’re reading this, thank you for being here. Thank you for witnessing this journey. Your presence makes this ritual of sharing even more powerful.

Shifting with the Nodes: Pisces North Node & Virgo South Node
As the 1/11 portal aligns with the nodal shift into the North Node in Pisces and South Node in Virgo, we’re entering an 18-month journey of karmic realignment, spiritual growth, and shedding old patterns.

Pisces North Node: The Path of Growth
With the North Node in Pisces, the collective and individual focus shifts toward embracing spirituality, creativity, and trust in the unknown. Pisces, the dreamer of the zodiac, encourages us to:
- Surrender control: Let go of the need to plan every detail and trust the flow of life.
- Embrace intuition: Open yourself to the wisdom of your inner voice, dreams, and subtle guidance from the universe.
- Cultivate compassion: Connect deeply with yourself and others, practicing empathy and forgiveness.
- Lean into creativity: Use art, music, or any creative outlet to channel emotions and manifest your desires.
The Pisces North Node asks us to align with our spiritual purpose and trust that we are supported, even when we can’t see the entire path ahead. It’s about softening into the divine flow and remembering that sometimes the most profound answers come when we release the need to “know” and instead allow ourselves to “feel.”

Virgo South Node: The Path of Release
The South Node in Virgo highlights patterns, habits, and beliefs we’re ready to release or integrate. Virgo energy is practical, detail-oriented, and often perfectionistic. While these qualities can be helpful, the South Node reveals where they may have become limiting. During this nodal shift, we’re being called to:
- Release perfectionism: Let go of the idea that everything needs to be “just right” before you take action or feel worthy.
- Loosen rigid routines: While structure can support growth, being overly attached to schedules or processes may stifle creativity and flow.
- Heal self-criticism: Shift from harsh self-judgment to self-compassion. Trust that you are enough just as you are.
- Balance service with self-care: Virgo’s tendency to overextend in service to others needs to be balanced with prioritizing your own well-being.
Virgo South Node energy asks us to integrate the practical gifts of organization and discernment but release the rigid need for control or over-analysis. It’s about trusting that your dreams and efforts don’t need to be perfect to be meaningful.

Pisces and Virgo in My Chart
For me, this nodal shift occurs with Pisces in my 5th house and Virgo in my 11th house.
The 5th house is about creativity, joy, passion, and self-expression. With the North Node here, I’m being called to lean into playfulness, spontaneity, and authenticity. It’s an invitation to create from the heart, trust my unique voice, and find joy in the process rather than perfection in the outcome.
The 11th house, where the South Node resides, governs community, friendships, and long-term goals. With Venus and Mars in Virgo in my 11th house, this nodal shift invites me to let go of perfectionism in how I show up in group spaces or strive to “fix” things for others. It’s a call to release the need to overthink my contributions to my community and instead focus on showing up authentically, trusting that being me is enough.

How to Work with This Nodal Energy
To better understand how this nodal shift impacts you personally, take a closer look at your birth chart:
- Locate Pisces and Virgo: Identify the houses where these signs fall. These houses will show you the areas of life being influenced.
- Pisces North Node: Where do you need to surrender, trust, and embrace creativity or spirituality?
- Virgo South Node: What patterns of control, overthinking, or perfectionism are you being called to release?
- Consider your planets: Do you have natal planets in Pisces or Virgo? If so, their energy will amplify the lessons of this nodal shift.
- Reflect on aspects: Look at how the nodes interact with your natal planets. These connections offer deeper insight into your personal growth and release paths.
This nodal alignment invites you to trust your intuition (Pisces) while using discernment (Virgo) to ground your dreams into reality. It’s about striking a balance between surrendering to the flow and staying anchored in meaningful action.
For me, this journey is about moving toward joy, creativity, and trust (Pisces in my 5th house) while letting go of perfectionism and over-analysis in community spaces (Virgo in my 11th house). It’s a call to live more fully as myself and trust that my authenticity will ripple outward.
What about you? Where are Pisces and Virgo guiding you in this next chapter? Reflect, release, and lean into your own alignment under this transformative nodal shift.

Manifestation Ritual for the 1/11 Portal
If you’re feeling the powerful energy of this portal and nodal shift, here’s a simple ritual you can try to anchor your intentions and release what no longer serves you.
What You’ll Need:
- A journal or piece of paper
- A candle (white for clarity or purple for spiritual connection)
- A small bowl of water
- An object that symbolizes your intention (a crystal, token, or personal item)
Step 1: Create a Sacred Space
Find a quiet space where you feel comfortable. Light your candle to symbolize clarity and inspiration. Place the bowl of water in front of you, representing Pisces’ fluidity and intuition.
Step 2: Reflect and Release
Write down any habits, beliefs, or fears you’re ready to release. Ask yourself:
- What perfectionist tendencies are holding me back?
- What fears or doubts no longer serve me?
- How can I let go and trust myself more?
Hold your paper over the bowl of water. As you imagine those patterns dissolving, tear the paper into small pieces and drop it into the water, symbolizing your release.
Step 3: Set Your Intentions
On a new piece of paper, write your intentions for this next chapter. Be clear and specific, aligning them with your authentic self. Place your symbolic object on top of the paper to charge it with your energy.
Step 4: Anchor Your Intentions
Speak your intentions aloud, as if they’ve already come true. Let your words flow with gratitude and confidence, trusting that the universe is working with you to make them real.

Moving Forward
This sacred day is a reminder that transformation doesn’t happen all at once—it’s built through small, consistent steps. The shifts I’ve made today feel like ripples, ready to expand and create monumental change over time.
Sharing these reflections here is one of those steps for me. Writing connects me to my magic, to my dreams, and to the energy of manifestation. It keeps me inspired and aligned with my commitment to being ME.
If you’ve read this far, I hope you feel the same inspiration to take those small steps toward your own dreams. What will you release? What will you commit to?
Here’s to more magic, more alignment, and more inspiration. Thank you for being part of this journey.
